3 Powerful Tips on How To Effectively Drive Massive Online Traffic to Your Website For Free!

Before you start pulling out cash to bid on search engine keywords to drive gobs of online traffic, you may want to step back and look at your other options. Yes, there are a couple of FREE and effective techniques that you can employ to get your name out there to your prospects. The awesome part of all of this is that each of these techniques are free and simple to implement.

Be forewarned: Free and simple DOES NOT mean easy or instant success.

1. E-Zine or Article Marketing - this one is one of my personal favorites. In article marketing, you can drive traffic through positioning or branding yourself as a leading expert in a particular field. You do this by writing articles, such as this one, where you talk about a particular area of interest in which you provide your reader GOOD, QUALITY content. The reason I emphasize this is because there are those out there who will slap on a couple of words and saturate the article with keywords IN THE HOPES that large traffic will come rushing to their websites.

Google is becoming more and more aggressive in providing online users QUALITY content that is relevant to their searches and will not accept something that was just "put together." C'mon, your English teacher wouldn't accept it, why do you think anyone else would? Make sure that when you are writing traffic driving articles, you do it in Notepad or xPad for Mac users. Microsoft Word will give you problems when you try to upload your articles online.

2. Blogging - this one sort of follows closely to writing free articles. Many people are catching up with blogging and it has become a really hot and new fad on the Internet for broader freedom of expression. Blogging can become a powerful traffic driver if you put the right stuff on your blog. Just like with any other social networking tool, the Golden Rules do apply. This means stuff like flaming or rude language should be eliminated.

With blogging, when you allow comments on your posts, you have the additional advantage of being able to build personal relationships with your traffic You can also use the blog to link to your professionally written articles on ezine. This allows you to retain a higher volume of traffic that you can then use to build your database. One of the best free tools out there for building your first blog is Blogger.com. You can, if you elect to, get fancy with RSS Feeds and actually have people subscribe to your blog. Now you will start seeing ACTIVE and TARGETED traffic on your website. That's just icing on the cake!

3. MySpace Marketing - this one is really cool because it allows you to be a bit more artistic in driving traffic. This is where YOU get the spotlight and people visit your MySpace page to find out who you are. There are many MySpace designer tools out there that you can use to set up the wallpapers, images, animations, music and even videos on there. You can either make it more personal, in which you set yourself up to connect with your audience or you can make it professional to provide specific information on your product or business.

Those were just some techniques I used to drive a large portion of my business traffic to my website. As new networking technologies emerge, especially in the mobile Web 2.0 market, the opportunities for you to drive massive traffic to your business website(s) will grow exponentially.
