Reasons Why You Should Create Your Own Forum

Having your own forum is a great way to succeed online. In this article, I will be revealing the reasons why it is important to have one.

When you have your own forum, you will be seen as an expert in your niche. People will naturally see you as a leader. They believe that for you to be the owner of a platform where people discuss a particular kind of topic, then you must be an expert yourself.

That is instant credibility for you and as Internet marketers you know how valuable this is. It could be the breakthrough you've been looking for online.

Another reason why you should have your own forum is that you will be building a responsive email list. We know how important list building is online and we know it's not the easiest thing to do. Website visitors are gradually becoming resistant to putting down their emails. Even when they do, there is no guarantee that they will become responsive to the offers you come up with later.

Not so with forums. When people join your forum, they automatically become your list members which makes it legal for your to contact them for promotional offers. People feel more comfortable joining your forum than joining a list because they are certain to gain from being members of your forum than just being members of a list.

Another reason why forums are great is that they get indexed by the search engines faster that "normal" websites. I'm not 100% sure why it's like that but I guess it's because forums continually churn out fresh contents. And you know that's what the search engines love.

Many topics on your forum will get ranked high by the search engines. The great thing is that, you won't be the one that will be doing this alone. Your members will be making posts that will get your forum ranked high.

Another reason is because you will be getting repeat traffic to your sites. We know how difficult it is getting first time visitors to come back to our websites. Not so with forums. Forum members naturally come back to the forums they belong to.
