Free And Simple Traffic Building Tactics That Offer Lasting Results

Building traffic to your website does not have to require an expensive paid program or special secret knowledge. Those methods may produce results, but you may not have a big budget or a budget at all! If that happens to be you, then you need to know that you do have some other great options. Options that can be just as effective or better than methods you would pay for.

1. Join and post in forums:

a) Join niche forums that have something in common with your website or products. Preferably forums where you can offer ideas and help because you have knowledge in topics that may be discussed in the forums.

EX: If your website is about dogs, search and join a few dog forums.

b) DO NOT SPAM! This does no good at all, people will begin to ignore your posts. Instead offer helpful advice and tips. People will respect you, and take your posts and what you have to say or offer into consideration

c) Use your signature space to the fullest. This is your chance to propose your offers, advertise your site, and most importantly have a one-way-link back to your site. If you follow step "B" this can become a great source of traffic to your site.

2. Write articles and submit articles:

a) Write about what you know! If you do that then the passion that you have for it will show in your writing, people will see that, and may also begin to see you a guru or expert in what you write about.

b) Just as in step "C" from posting in forums use your signature space to the fullest

c) Do not just write a couple! Write a lot! For one you will learn how to write better and two it will help for your exposure. You can easily become known as an expert in your field if you can continue to produce fresh and helpful content. In doing so, you increase your credibility and traffic to your site, because people will be interested and curious of what else you have to offer.

3. Exchange Links:

a) Do not exchange links with just any website! Instead search top keywords for your website, in doing so you will find quality like content sites to exchange links with. If you can work out link trades from these sites you achieve two goals: Quality back-links to your site and because the sites have like content visitors from those sites will be interested in what your site offers.

b) Do not be afraid of contacting the webmaster of a website about wanting to exchange links. Remember you are offering them the favor of delivering them traffic as well. Also make sure you give them time to post the link or reply with a response. Webmasters can be busy people.
