I have experimented with different traffic exchanges with varied results. Some yield very poor results while others do a lot better. Now the secret with traffic exchanges is that you need to sign up for a few and promote the traffic exchanges so that you build a down line. You will earn credits off your down line and get traffic even if you are not surfing. You can also surf ten exchanges at the same time. The way this works is that you sign up for ten traffic exchanges. You need to also install a browser that uses tabbed browsing like Firefox. Then you open up ten tabs at the same time browsing each traffic exchange simultaneously in the same amount of time as what it would have taken to surf one web site. The best traffic exchange that has worked for me is Traffic Swarm.

The trick with traffic exchanges is that since everybody is surfing you need to capture their attention in the few seconds that people see your web site. So you should not use your home page or a sales page. You need to create a splash where the sole focus of the page is to capture your visitor's name and email address.

Once you have created your splash page you need to target your adverts for Traffic Swarm. The way you do this is in the options you need to choose the categories which match your niche market. I have tested this by allowing all the categories to view my adverts and only the targeted niche category. In both cases they generated the same amount of leads as adverts that are not targeted just used my credit impressions up. The other noticeable thing which made a big difference in my advertising campaigns is that I tested different adverts to click on. The one big advantage of Traffic Swarm over other traffic exchanges is that visitors need to click on your text advert before they visit your web site. By tracking and testing different text adverts you will find that some perform much better than other adverts.
