Squidoo Traffic – Driving Traffic Using Squidoo

Squidoo is one of the latest high trafficked websites online. So how do you use Squidoo to drive traffic to your website?

This is a great question. Many people want to drive traffic to their websites, and drive traffic to their squeeze pages. And because Squidoo has such a high ranking currently, some people are finding that pages, or lenses, and squidoo pages are coming out very highly in the search engines.

So how do you take advantage of the high search engine rankings that certain pages in squidoo are producing?

Here's what I say: do it the same way we've done it for years with content article marketing. Create great content.

You see the problem is, if you try that use some newfangled approach, that you read in a book that you buy for $50, that is sold to a thousand other people, what do you think is going to happen when those thousand other people start applying the same technique? It is going to become like spamming. This technique simply isn't going to work.

So what you do?

Go back to what you know works! Content works. Write good content, highly keyword optimized content, and you're going to get traffic to your squidoo page.

Once you get traffic to your Squidoo page, you send that traffic to your squeeze page or to your website and really it isn't much simpler than that.

So it is really not much different than driving traffic using any other source – so don’t treat it differently. Create great content.
